In Memory Of Sandy Hook Newtown

The pain of losing a loved one is something that is unparalleled in our world. Sometimes it might have been the person who meant the most to you, a person who was always the first one to make you laugh or happy, a person who loved you and cared for you. This person may have been a father, or a son, a daughter, or a brother.

Whomever it may have been, the people of Newtown, CT all felt a loss the day of the Sandy Hook tragedy. The poor innocent lives that were lost that day struck us all, not as a nation, but as one big family. It is my earnest hope that you can take a bit of comfort and warmth in the words written in this letter.

Although I do not understand how it feels to lose a brother, a sister, a mother, a son, or a daughter, I do know how it feels to lose a father, a father so close and dear to me who I thought I could never live without.

Ever since the loss of my father I have never been the same.
