Sandy Hook Remembrance

Sandy Hook Remembrance

Dear families of Newtown, CT

On December 14, one of the most shocking things that I have ever heard of happened. One of my worst nightmares took place on this day. When I first heard of this tragedy, I was sitting down watching TV with my little brother. Then I stopped for a second, and started thinking, “what if that was my little brother, or even me!?”

I would never be the same, my family would never be the same. So I can only imagine the pain that you have been through. The teachers who gave up their lives to try and save others, have inspired me to be there more for my little brother, because he’s the only brother I’ve got, and I don’t know how long I’m going to be here with him.

It breaks my heart to know, and to hear about this tragedy, but it has taught me a lesson that I will never forget, and that is to never take things for granted.

Sincerely: Calvin C, Wilcox
