The Sandy Hook Tragedy

The Sandy Hook Tragedy

Dear Family Members,

They say that the greatest love is the one that a parent feels for their child. I cannot imagine nor comprehend the intense amount of pain that you are all feeling due to your loss. As I know that you are going through melancholic times, I wish to offer you my condolences. You must feel such vast holes in your hearts. It’s difficult to imagine, really.

I myself, love children; I wish to have two, a boy and girl. I dream about playing with my future children in the playground, reading them good-night stories, and to watch them grow and become great individuals. Sometimes, while thinking way too far into my future, I even envision myself surrounded by grand-kids. I know you wished for the same. I know you looked forward to the beautiful experiences that were to come. It makes my heart ache that the lives of those of which you created and nurtured, are now gone.

To the sons and daughters of Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung, Mary Sherlach, and Anne Marie Murphy, your loss really hits home. My mother is the person that takes up most of the love that I have to offer. These particular deaths make me want to sprint to my mom and hug her endlessly. At times, like any normal person, I tend to forget just how lucky I am to have her alive and healthy. I will cherish every second that I spend with her even more now.

Life is just one loopy roller-coaster ride. Once you fall, you rise again, but only to plunge back down. Later on, unexpectedly, you skyrocket to the top. Let’s not forget the many twists and turns that make you feel like death is gripping you by the throat. Those are the worst, but you live, and you’ll live through this. We, the people of this world, are all supportive of you. The healing process will probably never end, but your deep wound will eventually just be a scar; a scar in society that hopefully taught us all valuable lessons. Enjoy the times you have with someone, because you never know if it may be the last time you see them.

Sincerely,

Darien Perez

To The Sandy Hook Victims

To The Sandy Hook Victims

Dear families of Sandy Hook victims,

December 14, 2012 was the day that changed the lives of many people. This event has caused students and teachers to realize what is going on around them. Student now know that they should watch the news more often to see what is happening around the world. Teachers worry about their students’ safety as well as their own.

Students are now aware of the fact that if they keep an eye out for people that are acting suspicious or odd they can prevent an incident like this one from happening again. Teachers can also help make the school campus safer by talking to the students that seem troubled or that act violent.

Sincerely,

Daniella Goulart

Praying For Victims Of Sandy Hook

Praying For Victims Of Sandy Hook

Dear Newtown Families,

In my sixteen years of life, I’ve always taken everyone for granted. Although I love my friends and family, I never gave their presence enough value. After I heard about the tragedy that occurred on December 14, 2012, I changed my ways. For weeks and months, it was all people spoke about and I couldn’t avoid thinking of how your community must feel. I cried when I thought of how Christmas would change for so many families who’s loved ones were savagely ripped away.

I spent that Christmas with my family and told them how much I cared for each of them. Little by little, I started to appreciate my life more and value the people in it; the people I love. This tragedy also made me concerned for the lives of those people I value so much. I read about how teachers gave up their lives for others’ children and protected them. I questioned my own bravery and concluded that I’d do the same.

Please, accept my sincerest condolences for the courageous and the innocent souls you lost. I want you to know that this tragedy affected me strongly and that my heart aches for your loss. Be aware that this whole nation is supporting you in honoring your loved ones.

-Sincerely,

Daniela Crespo

This Year Get A Lowe’s Job

This Year Get A Lowe’s Job

How to get a job with Lowe’s

Getting a job whose pay is good can be tricky today. People mostly look online for help and a quicker track to a job. But the reality of many of the online job applications leave much to be desired and the companies are usually not very thorough in going through the job applications. The old fashion way has always worked fine for me. It will for you too.

The first step is to fill out the job application. Many applicants will be asked to submit their applications via the Internet, while others still use freehand applications. In the case of Lowe’s they have their own hiring center, and they also allow you to fill the job application right at the store. So make sure that you are presentable. In other words don’t show up in shorts!I have always offered good job applications online, but you still should always print them out and take them in person as well. Here is your first shot at getting hired on the Sunday paper blog. The Lowe’s online job application search start here! Online job app.

Lowe’s Home Improvement

If you’re interested in getting a Lowe’s home improvement store job with the company, you should know that the process of applying for a job is relatively easy. I will explain a few things to keep in mind to increase your chances of getting the job right below:

The first thing to do is to describe all of your prior work history in a paper document form. Include dates that you work at each location, as well as the type of position you held. Do not forget to also include data such as your social security number, driver’s license and phone number. Also let me know discourage people who have never held a job before and are interested in the Lowe’s job application. There are plenty of teens and young adults that get hired with this equal opportunity employer. So do not turn away this information if you have never held a job before. Very important.

Approach each Lowe’s branch in which you would like to work with the documents necessary for a job application, I have already explained some of them above. Ask one of the employees of the store where you can leave your information and fill out the application in order to apply for a job at that location. The employee will indicate to you where the hiring center is within the store. Your job applications will be specific to only that branch though. Some of the disadvantages of not filling out an online job application, like this one. Free online job application.

Finally, once you have completed your application, you must wait a few days and then see online what the status of your application or go back to the branch in which you presented the job application and get a status check in person. Following these steps will enhance your chances of getting employed in the company of your choice.

Dear Families Of Sandy Hook

Dear Families Of Sandy Hook

Dear families of Sandy Hook,

I don’t know; much less understand the situation that your family is going though. I can only imagine how hard it must be to go on with life as usual and do the stuff that seems so normal to me. Despite not understanding your situation the events of December 14th has had a profound effects on me.

I am a sophomore at Westland Hialeah Senior High School, it is far from Connecticut but the effect of the tragedy reaches all of us as a community. The death of those 20 children brought to my attention many issues like anxiety of not being safe in school.

I can no longer go to school and feel like it’s a safe place. In fact after the tragedy walking into school is like walking into a crime scene. In my mind school and safety will no longer be related words and I will never feel safe there. Just the thought that anyone dangerous can walk in gives me chills.

This shooting has also opened my eyes to gun control issues. Knowing that anyone in the United States can bear arms scares me. That incident was made possible by a citizen who had this right and got taken advantage of. However as a community we are coming together and making an effort to stop tragedies like this from happening again.

Sincerely,
Daniela H

Sandy Hook Will Get Rebuilt

Sandy Hook Will Get Rebuilt

Dear Children and Parents from Newtown Connecticut:

I wanted to let you all know, all of you who lost a brother, sister, son, daughter or friend, that you are not alone. I stand by you by remembering the names of the victims, those who had a bright future ahead of them, and brought happiness to everyone close to them during their life. I admire the courageous heroes that stood up for what they knew was correct and for what they believed in despite the terrible consequences. Their job was to protect the children from all danger, and even though they perished, they will always be remembered as heroes. The news of the tragedy has reached every corner of the country, and now the President is doing everything he can to prevent another incident that involves a fire arm.

Apart from the President’s plan, school safety can be improved by having more police officers in the school area, inside and outside. Officers need to have better and more advanced fire arms to stop violence at all costs. The lost lives on December 14 of 2012 have left a dramatic impact on society. It is a message, one that warns us about how the world is becoming and telling us to take precautions for ourselves and our loved ones.

A new law has been discussed; it argues that teachers should be able to carry guns to defend against any invaders that step on school grounds. I think that the government of the United States should pass a law that requires more security guards in schools for the benefit of children and teachers. The future is unpredictable, and we always need to make the best of life and always be with the ones we love. From this day on, I promise to tell an adult if I see an adult or teenager with a gun. I have learned the importance of not keeping news that could save someone`s life to myself. The Sandy Hook tragedy has opened our eyes, and some even see life differently due to this event. We will always remember those innocent faces that were at school only to learn, and be with their friends. I will never forget the faces of these angels.

Sandy Hook Elementary Will Get Rebuilt

Sandy Hook Elementary Will Get Rebuilt

Dear Newtown, Connecticut

On December 14 2012 the worst thing you would never imagine of happening happened. You might think there is no purpose in living anymore, but have you stopped to think that you might be that one person that makes a change? You can be the person that stops the comments that say “if only we could have done something sooner” or “they were so young.” You can be that one that makes a big impact in our country.

Likewise, you’re not alone. I know the feeling of losing someone you love. I lost my dad about four years ago in a car accident. Trust me, at first I felt horrible. But as the years passed, I got better and better. Like the saying goes, “healing comes with time.” Just let time take its course. I know you don’t know me, but if any of you need to talk or get something off your chest, read my letter and I bet you’ll feel much better.

Ever since the whole tragic event I’ve been a little uneasy about school security, especially at my school. If that person was able to get into an elementary school imagine what could happen to a high school, especially when the front door is always open and the school has many other open places where bad people could get in. Just thinking about that makes me nervous to go to school. Plus, just like my school police officer said, if a student finds out a way to skip school without getting caught, someone with bad intentions can come in and no one will notice as easily.

What Is The Quickest Way To Find A Job?

What Is The Quickest Way To Find A Job?

Not Just The McDonalds Application!

As the Summer approaches people begin to ponder a way to get hired with a job quickly for the Summer. Online job applications are the easiest way to begin the process as you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own home in order to apply for a job online. Teenagers everywhere will be looking to join the work force this season as well. So add that to the number of people that are going to be searching for employment very soon. So often people ask what the easiest, quickest way to determine how they can fill an employment position and quick. Fill out my job application process, and get on the quick path to get hired today.

For teens the answer seems to be easier than the adults that seek for jobs this Summer. The main reason is that an entry position at McDonalds or Burger King will be a whole lot easier for a teen to take than say an adult with a family and other needs. Needs that out weigh a cell phone, or money to go to a movie, or even fuel for a car. Adults need jobs that are going to take care of other needs, like health insurance, mortgage or rent payments, and the cost of maintaining these same teens. So the task gets tougher, but do not despair. If you seek a part-time job or full time job I have information that will assist you on getting hired. Not only do I have the information but I have the place that will more than likely be the only stop you will ever have to make to get hired. Start your application process with me right now, and you will find that rewarding job today. Remember a push is only a push, if you can gain steam from it. Push these buttons today, get a job that you need.

What places can you expect to find a meaningful job at?

Well like I stated earlier, places like McDonalds, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and Checkers would most certainly be more serving for a teen. These entry level or crew member positions have teens written all over them. This however, does not mean that an adult cannot apply for this job or get it. Now adults need things like health insurance and other motivational perks that can place them behind the wheel of a nice job. They need it, this economy needs it to help us maintain some type of stability, so without further delay these jobs are to include jobs for employment like, Lowe’s, The Home Depot, The local University, for me it is the University of Miami ( which I worked there for about 13 years) and other local colleges and school districts. Jobs like custodian, maintenance workers, and other technical hands on types of jobs should not be overlooked as they can replace insecurity with security and we can all use some security in the workforce.

The Sandy Hook Tragedy

The Sandy Hook Tragedy

Dear Families of New Town CT,

You are not alone in this grief. I am writing this letter to you so you know that I care too, and  I too suffered from the loss of the loved ones and lives lost. I know how it feels and I understand you. Here in Florida our school district has taken this devastating incident into perspective. We are trying our best to improve our schools’ safety to avoid any other tragic deaths like the one at Newtown, CT.

This has made me realize that by improving our schools’ safety we can make a change and perhaps parents could one day let their young ones go to school with no worries or at least have those worries reduced somewhat. Teachers could then go to work happily feeling and knowing they are safe and maybe they feel like at any given they do not have to place their lives on the line. Could you imagine how much better the teaching would be. This has all made me reflect upon how I  feel in regards to being safe in my school.

I have become aware of the circumstances, now we are willing to make a difference so that no other catastrophe like this could ever happen again.

Sincerely,

C. Graveran

To The Survivors Of Sandy Hook

To the survivors of The Sandy Hook Tragedy

While I sat down and thought I would write a tear touched my cheek.  I thought, “What would life for me be like if I lose my brother”. My brother is only five years old; this year he entered elementary school. Before December 14 I use to take life for granted. I thought I was secure or was I? At least I thought that I was. I did what I could to be safe.

Little did I know that sometimes it’s not up to us. The security around us in school has been proven to be not me enough. A lot can be done to improve our safety in school but there is little money to do it all. I am here and I feel your pain. I have felted it for quite some time. Maybe in different forms, for instance my father does not live in the United States. I see him about once a year if I can.

I miss him and I wake up every day with him on my mind. All my life I have heard heroes are only actors in a movie but this theory has been proven wrong. Those teachers in Newtown, Connecticut are the real deal. They sacrificed their lives to save those innocent children and others.
